Enjoy a fine selection of masterful music by Mozart and Strauss, rounded off with two vocal singers, at the Orangery of Schönbrunn Palace. One of the most famous orchestras in Vienna awaits you at the fully renovated Palace Orangery, where Mozart himself played in 1786, to perform the most beautiful tunes of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Strauss.

What to remember

Know in advance:

Categories A, B, C, and VIP of the concert tickets refer to the concert seat. You can look at the seating plan here. VIP ticket holders receive a personalized and access to the exclusive VIP Lounge in the entrance area of the Orangery Schönbrunn as well as a glass of sparkling wine at the bar during the intermission
Please note that you can collect your concert tickets from the Ticket Office Orangerie during office hours: Every day from 10.00am to 6.30pm, or at the box office until 8pm
After the concert has ended, there will be sufficient taxis available at the entrance to the Orangery Schönbrunn. The underground leaves in five to eight-minute intervals until midnight

In schöner historischer Kulisse, aber dennoch fast familiär, so ein tolles Konzert zu erleben, war für uns ein besonderer Höhepunkt. Vorher haben wir uns noch im Schönbrunner Stöckl in gemütlicher Atmosphäre gestärkt. Dort sollte man auf jeden Fall auch mal Einkehr halten!!! SUPER!

Uns hat es sehr gefallen! Auch mit dem Kind (6,5 Jahre alt). Ambiente und die Musikwahl. Ein Minus, war bestimmt eine Ausnahme: die Damen hinter uns, die auf Ordnung im Saal beruflich aufpassen sollten, haben selbst so laut geredet, deren Handies benutzt. Geht direkt zu Orangerie

De instructies over waar je moest zijn waren duidelijk, er werd nog een mail gestuurd met extra informatie. Het concert was geweldig. Vriendelijke medewerkers, een knusse en indrukwekkende setting en hele goede musici en zangers, die hun enthousiasme zeer goed over wisten te brengen. Kortom: een echte aanrader!

In de romantisch verlichte Orangerie van kasteel Schönbrunn hebben het orkest en twee zangers een mooie variëteit van bekende en minder bekende stukken van diverse componisten gespeeld en gezongen. Het programma van ruim twee uur inclusief één pauze en toegiften was een genot om aan te horen.

Meine Mutter (80+) und einige andere ältere Herrschaften haben mehr Ohrwürmer von Mozart erwartet. Von Strauß ging es dann. Eine Leselampe aus dem Orchester hat sehr geblendet, da könnten die Platzeinweiser drauf achten. Die Ausleuchtung, Digitaltechnik schaffte eine angenehme Atmosphäre im Raum.

L'orchestra ci è piaciuta molto anche bella scelta dei brani. Peccato che dai nostri posti in fondo alla sala non si riusciva a vedere il palco per apprezzare i ballerini ed i cantanti. La sala infatti non ha alcuna pendenza, ci è sembrata poco adatta.
